We hope this correspondence finds you and your furry companion in good health. We wanted to bring to your attention an important matter regarding the recent reports of severe Canine Infectious Respiratory Disease (CIRD) in Oregon. The Oregon Veterinary Medical Association (OVMA) has published an article on this issue, which you can read here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

CIRD, often referred to as “infectious tracheobronchitis” is a contagious respiratory disease that can affect dogs of all ages. It spreads rapidly in environments where dogs congregate, such as dog parks, grooming facilities, boarding kennels, and even veterinary clinics. Symptoms of CIRD include coughing, sneezing, runny nose, lethargy, and decreased appetite.<\/p>\n
